Abstract
Surgery in patients with synchronous metastatic disease in colorectal cancer is a great therapeutic option to reduce mortality and increase survival, however, there is no international consensus for the surgical approach. The objective of this study was to evaluate and compare two types of surgical interventions (simultaneous and deferred/classical) in relation to the impact they have on survival. A systematic review.
