Research Centres and Laboratories – Part 2. Architectural Design Principles

This is a second part of the monograph entitled Research Centres and Laboratories - Architectural Design Principles, also, this part discusses and reflects the standards and design guidelines, accompanied with charts, photographs, drawings, and sketches. The textbook is divided into four extensive chapters. The first chapter, present and elaborates the intro of architectural design challenges. The second chapter, present and elaborates the environment and social conditions in Kosovo, data are provided from the official government publications for the need of the students. The third chapter, the main chapter of this monograph, continue to describe the concepts, guidelines and conceptual design principles for the Research Centres and Laboratories. The fourth chapter elaborates the accompanying architectural functions, such are Restaurants, Central Kitchen, Wardrobes and parking places as design guidelines for the Research Centres and Laboratories.
